Episode 018 - Austin Dunbar - Durham Branding Co. - Offset Print - Packaging
Today's guest is Austin Dunbar. He is part of the awesome team over at Durham Branding Co. @durhamstudio
During this episode we take a deep dive behind the scenes of the folded carton design and production for Kentucky Crafted. Austin shares the story behind the company and how that played into some key design decisions. He also shares how the first go around on the boxes required a reprint and why.
We also talk about the work for Downy detergent and Philidelphia cream cheese from early on in his career. And how CD booklets were some of his earliest memories of print.
It was great to connect with Austin again as I also had a great chat with Austin on episode 132 of The Quickie podcast. Go check that out too. @durhamstudio
